The palm fruit seller.

One man holds a batch of palm fruit on his head while the other is carrying a container to barter.

Often depicted on flags are palm fruit kernels and palm trees as the majority of Asafo group members were not only fishermen but also farmers.

The palm kernel fruit is considered to be one of the most important tropical fruits on the African continent and it is believed to cure certain diseases and improve health.
